How do I know your Heritage Collision GM certification is still current?

GM audits certified body shops through a third party. If a gap is found, the shop has 60 days to resolve it or lose the certification. An active credential reflects that we meet the standard now, not that we met it once years ago.

What does GM Certified actually mean?

It means Heritage Collision holds GM's Basic certification plus additional tiers on top of it, including the Internal Combustion Engine Specialty tier and the Battery Electric Vehicle Basic tier. Not every certified body shop holds both. A shop with only the Basic tier is not equipped the same way as one that also earned BEV certification.
